Information about the project

Openki week in Jura

Feel like spending 1½ weeks in the “Décentrale”, located on top of the beautiful Mont-Soleil, the sunniest place in Switzerland?

In September your opportunity arises:

We invite everybody to get to know each other, do things like writing texts, cutting the short video, making future plans, designing flyers, discussing, collecting ideas for courses and pass some time in a beautiful surrounding with interesting topics.

If you’d like to come by (no matter if it’s for some days or the entire week) register yourself on our Doodle and if you have further questions please write us a mail to community[ät]openki.net

When: Friday 15th till Sunday 24th of september
Where: In the Décentrale in Mont-Soleil, next to St. Imier. (Map)
Here’s the doodle: Framadate

Décentrale

FAQs:

  • There’s 16 sleeping places in the house plus some more in a tipi and a yurt. We’re invited by the Décentrale, so there are no sleeping costs.
  • We have money for paying the food – for those who want to contribute anyway we will have a collect.
  • We’ll arrive on Friday the 15th in the afternoon at around 5:00 PM and plan to leave on the evening of Sunday the 24th or on Monday morning.
  • We will define the daily schedule all together on-site (some will be defined already in advance) and start with the activities at around 10:00 AM, sometimes also with parallel activities.
  • How to get there by public transport: check SBB timetable to Mont-Soleil. Parking available (please inform us if you need one).
  • Things to take along: (optional) sleeping bag, computer, personal things.
