After one year of planing, this spring was the time. In the middle of Zurich from the 5th until the 8th March the Openki-festival “Each one Teach one” took place. During five days there were 63 different workshops to join. In advance you people proposed unbelievable 124 different workshops! Within a short period of time we were able to find a mentor for each course, so that in the end we had a whole lot of incredibly great workshop offers.

Here a few examples of workshops held at the festival:

• Acro Yoga
• Play the Uculele
• Polyamory for beginners for beginners
• Doing strange things with electricity
• I cannot sing
• In the cockpit of the Baskara sound machine
• Mushroom cultivation for beginners

Something we don’t want to keep from you is the Openki song, which the participants of the singing course invented without a mentor and sang at the festival afterwards: bit.ly/openkisong

Despite the little money we had available, we were able to do the event with over 400 participants almost as planned. This was possible thanks to our great community, the partners and the 60 volunteers.

We are extremely grateful for this wonderful event, which would never have been possible without you! If all goes well, the next festival will take place in winter 2021/22.
